M25 via bicycle..

I'm not even surprised.

Not your usual commute to work is it taking a bicycle down one of the busy motorways in the UK. Surely despite whatever your mobile application says common sense would come in to play?

That bloke cannot be serious.

Yellow card for taking your shirt off? Really.

I'm not sure how a yellow card for taking your shirt off can be in the same category as a malicious/cynical challenge. For a start a footballers shirt is only removed when something good happens e.g. scoring a goal and yet you get the same punishment when you haul someone down..

Surely it is about time the FA changed this rule?!

Froch v Groves

Carl Froch has said that Nottingham's City Ground is set to be the most likely venue when war commences for the second time between the two men something Groves isn't overly keen on.

"Before you all book your trains to Nottingham because the Sheriff has tweeted - I very much doubt King John would send us all there!"

George Groves still has that taste of bitterness from the first contest between the two meN. Groves led on points after flooring the champion in round one but Howard Foster stepped in to halt proceedings when Froch let rip with a flurry of blows in the ninth to hand him the victory. I personally feel the contest was stopped at a ridiculous time in the bout and that a rematch is the correct thing to do and lets all be honest, we all love an underdog.. come on grovesy lad!

ICC U19 Cricket's World Cup

A very hard fought and heated contest has just drawn to a conclusion in Dubai after Pakistan ran out winners against England.

England looked to be in trouble from the outset dropping silly wickets only to claw themselves back into somewhat by a magnificent knock from the captain Rhodes. England's total always looked a little shy of what they required and this proved to be the case with Pakistan crawling over the line by 5 balls.

It could have been a totally different story if England's fielding didn't crumble under the Pakistan pressure as drop catches and misfield's late on proved to be extremely cost.

So close and yet so far as it always is with England in most major competitions.

Bath Half Marathon

I am running in the Bath Half Marathon this Sunday and despite the serious shin-splints I'm currently suffering from I am very much looking forward to it. The shin-splints started to occur around about three weeks ago and I haven't trained since.

The training up until this had been going well though and I had been doing around 10-15 miles a week since last September so I am hoping this will stand me in good stead come race day.

Where has Andros Townsend gone?

Andros Townsend was sparkling in the limelight a couple of months ago putting in huge performances for Tottenham and England but hasn't been since, why?! I cannot remember the last time I saw Andros play especially under the new manager Tim Sherwood.

Surely to get himself on the play to Rio he needs to be playing games?!

Imagine if you was Malky Mackay

Cardiff got drubbed at the weekend by an ever improving Hull City side, since Ole Gunnar Solksjaer has taken over at the Bluebirds he has only brought misery and the club is now in free-fall sliding down the table at will.. I still cannot understand why Vincent Tan decided to sack Malky Mackay when he was producing results in a club who were expecting to be fighting relegation at the start of the season. Why change something if it is working perfectly well?!
The only real reason I can see Vincent Tan sacking Malky Mackay was so he could have his own mark on the club. If Cardiff go down surely Vincent Tan is the man to blame.

Vincent Tan please put the interests of the club first and your ultra ego second. Clown.
